About Craven Communications
Craven Communications was set up by Charlotte Lumley at the start of 2022, with the aim of providing PR and media services for drivers and teams in the fast-paced world of motorsport.
Charlotte has over 12 years’ experience in the motorsport PR sector, having worked for United Autosports, one of the top sports prototype teams, and with some of the best professional racing drivers in global motorsport, including Filipe Albuquerque, Fernando Alonso and Paul Di Resta.
Charlotte also has a huge amount of experience working at some of the most prestigious sportscar events worldwide, including the Le Mans 24 Hours, Rolex 24 At Daytona and multiple seasons racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Charlotte began her motorsport PR career at Ginetta Cars before moving to United Autosports, covering multiple race series across the globe.
Charlotte's first role since setting up Craven Communications was as Head of Communications in Nitro Rallycross (now Nitrocross), working with F1 Champion, Jenson Button and rally legend, Kris Meeke, before joining the award winning Revolution Communications team, working on their Mahindra Racing Formula E account. There she worked with drivers, Lucas Di Grassi, Roberto Merhi and Oliver Rowland during Season 9 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
Charlotte also works alongside former Corvette Factory driver, Oliver Gavin and racing driver, Matt Bell on driver management company Oliver Gavin Motorsport Management (OGMM). She has also acted as an event consultant for teams at the Le Mans 24 Hours and handles the social media pages of multiple racing drivers. Charlotte has expanded her offering into team coordination and event management working with race winning LMP2 team, Nielsen Racing. She also counts Pro Seat Global as her most recent client, assisting them with their operations globally.
Throughout her career, Charlotte has shown a passion for PR and communications within the motorsport sector. She is resilient and versatile, fitting in well within a team environment as well as excelling when working independently. Charlotte prides herself on being organised, punctual and reliable, all of which are key qualities for a PR and Communications Manager.
Fun fact: Charlotte used to work for the Yorkshire tourism board, Welcome to Yorkshire, working on projects including Yorkshire's involvement in the 2012 London Olympics and the (successful) bid to bring the Grand Depart of the Tour de France to Yorkshire.
